Youth Frontiers- Student Mentoring Program -

This program was introduced to this Club in 2015/2016 by our Vocational Services Director Terry Grainger. The Youth Frontiers Program is an initiative of the NSW Government and forms its Youth  Mentoring  Program. Engadine Rotary's involvement has been in association with the South Sydney Business Education Network (SS BEN ) and has involved Terry Grainger mentoring three local High School students during the last 12 months.They are:-

1. Maximus O'Shea- Engadine High School . Max's Project was titled "Make Bullying History . He will give his presentation at Engadine West public School on 11th November and at         Engadine High School on 18th November . 2. Jessie Phillips - James Cook Technical High School - Jessie's Project was on Environmental issues covering the Blue Tongue Lizard - Jessie gave his presentation to his School on
    31st Oct and was well received. A photo of him being congratulated by Terry Grainger follows.  Great work Jessie 
 
 3. Joshua Cahill - Caringbah De La Salle High - Joshua's project is title "The Importance of Sport to Youth" -and will give his presentation to his school on Thursday 3rd November.  
 
 
 Rotary thanks the students for their tenacity and willingness to succeed. A great achievement.
 
 Engadine Rotary thanks Terry Grainger for his involvement and skills in making this project a great success.
