Past speakers

Sorry you missed our last speakers.   Sarah Walsh's presentation was just great - What great speaker, very mature, highly motivated  and complete young person.

And then we had our own Patrick Wagner speaking on a very topical and important subject of Cyber security and  protecting your computer data
in the Modern World. With computer hacking ever present this presentation gave our members sound advice on what they  should do to ensure that it doesn't happen to them .

Last week 17/7/2017 - we had Anita Longworth, who is the Manager of NOVA Employment & Training Inc. Engadine Branch tells us about the fine work undertaken by the Nova Employment organisation in providing a  Disability Employment Service . NOVA Employment is a Government funded employment service that works with people who have a disability. It is a not for profit organisation relying heavily on Volunteers. This is an an 'open employment' program in which NOVA finds job seekers work in the general community, working under the same conditions as people who do not have a disability

They help employers find motivated and keen employees and help people that have a disability find and develop their careers. If you know of people in this situation NOVA would welcome you enquiries.

Thank you Anita for letting us know about the services provided by Nova Employment & Training.
