Hi Everyone ,
I am John Walters , President of the Rotary Club of Engadine. On behalf of Engadine Rotary, may I wish all members in our community a very merry Christmas and a prosperous 2019.
Thanks to the support from the Engadine community, Engadine Rotary has had a successful 2018, supporting the many requests for assistance that we received throughout the year.
However while we all enjoy the benefits of living in a great society and world, there still are some amongst us that haven’t fared as well and perhaps it’s time to think about how we might improve their lot.
Perhaps its time for us to give a little back ?
Over the past 45 years since our Foundation, the Rotary Club of Engadine has in fact provided much support, both financially and physically to the not so well off in our community. Where there has been a request and need for help and assistance, we have responded to those calls. We will continue to do so in the future, but we can’t always do this alone and we need help from time to time to carry out our humanitarian charter.
Running Fund Raising and Community Service projects to support our ideals is both time consuming and straining on our members. If we are to continue helping in this way, we ask you to consider helping us by becoming involved in Rotary either as a member or a volunteer.
Please consider, it might just be one of your friends who needs our help.
